Hey, I'm Darren
I picked up my first camera two decades ago and never really put it down. My home was full of photo albums (think thick plastic covered, floral-print ones from Kmart) and somewhere in those pages I understood what photographs are really for.
I started Lune because I believe your wedding deserves to be captured honestly. Not performed for a camera, but felt. I move quietly through your day, capturing every stolen glance, every nervous laugh, and every moment the room erupts.
When I'm not shooting, I'm usually exploring new corners of Melbourne with Nimbus, my Bichon Frisé who is convinced he's a much larger dog than he actually is (He's mostly just fluff).
My photography style is guided by one question — will this still feel beautiful in twenty years? Warm, organic tones, colours chosen with intention, nothing that chases a trend. Just images that age the way good photographs should — gracefully, and with feeling.
